Terms sheet / effective 28 August 2026
Use the gate. Keep your judgment.
These terms cover the hosted documentation, browser workbench, and one-time Team Kit license. The open-source CLI is also governed by its MIT license.
Advisory software
Secret and entropy detectors reduce exposure risk but cannot guarantee detection of every credential, identifier, or form of personal data. You are responsible for policy coverage, reviewing output, access control, and credential rotation.
One-time Team Kit
The Team Kit costs US $39 once and unlocks the browser policy composer for the licensed user. The purchase is not a subscription. Core CLI detection, receipts, safety behavior, and export remain free.
Checkout and refunds
Sociobot/Dodo is the merchant of record and handles payment, tax, receipts, and refunds. An approved refund automatically revokes the associated license. Do not share or resell license tokens.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to violate law, probe systems without authorization, or represent the receipt as a certification or guarantee. You may use generated receipts as operational evidence subject to their stated detector coverage.
Availability and liability
The software is provided “as is,” without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, maintainers are not liable for lost data, missed detections, exposed secrets, or indirect damages. Keep backups of non-sensitive policy files; originals should not be entrusted to this tool as storage.
Changes
Material changes will be dated on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms. If you disagree, stop using the hosted features; the MIT-licensed release remains available under its license.
